The Polar Bear
A polar bear crosses the Iglulingmiut hunters’ way. Polar bears have nothing to fear in their natural environment, except humans. The polar bear holds a special position in the Arctic world. Traditionally polar bear was considered man’s closest relative, as it stood in relation to man as both prey and hunter, and as it – like man - had the ability to cross the border between land and sea.
