Diplom-Biologin (equealent to cand.scient.) from University of Hohemheim (D) 2001. Since 1996 I've worked within the dendrochronological field. I've been employed at various projects at the dendro-lab at the University of Hohenheim (D), at the Danish National Museum, several local museums in Denmark and at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University in Copenhagen.

The field I work with in covers among other things: cultural- and vegetation history, ecology, climate, paleoclimate, wood anatomy and definition of wood from large trees to tiny arctick shrubs or bushes.
