The title ’Northern Worlds’ is an umbrella for over 20 scientific projects some short term, some long term. Northern Worlds is their common identity and is chosen to encourage internal as well as the external corporation and thus create synergy and visibility.

The Steering Comity consists of the Director of the National Museum Per Kristian Madsen (chairman), Chief of the Museum Lene Floris and Head of Unit Michael Andersen, Poul Otto Nielsen, Mads Cristensen, Ulf Dahre. Senior researcher H. C. Gulløv is coordinator in corporation with research coordinator Birgit Rønne.
