’Small Trees’ as indicators of Climate

The aim of the project ‘Small Trees’ is to improve the wood anatomical methods on the Arctic willow (Salix arctica) and other slow growing small trees of the Arctic. The research will not only shed light over climate change with new proxy data, but also contribute to the use of dendro chronological methods concerning other woody plants from the Arctic area.
